Another epic episode from MadTV about an epic movie - The Lord of the Rings (LOTR).
To me this is one of the “higher end” episodes, simple and yet professionally done. And of course it’s hilarious. Like I said, it’s an epic. Don’t be surprised as the main stars are celebrities Jack Black and Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Well, 2 things I’d like to talk about here.
First, the comedy TV show - Whose Line Is It Anyway?. Abbreviated WLIIA, Whose Line (I’d like to call it that way) is an impromptu show consisting of a panel of four performers/comedians who create characters, scenes and songs on the spot, in the style of short-form improvisation games. Basically they act on the spot, no script whatsoever.
If you haven’t watched the show, then you don’t know what real comedy is.
You can bet that any performer who goes on the show is talented. Which brings us to my 2nd point - Wayne Brady. Wayne is one of the regulars on the show. And each time, he brings with him his amazing talents. The jokes that he comes up with, the imitations that he does, and the impromptu songs that he sings will really blow you away. This guy can really come up with brilliant stuff.
Having watched probably each and every episode of the Whose Line series (8 seasons till date), 2 performances of Wayne really stood out in my mind. I was looking through YouTube the other day and gladly found these 2 videos. And so I’m sharing them here.

Yes, it’s MadTV again. Can’t help it, they produce quality stuff.
These Jackson parodies are old but still new to me. And it doesn’t hurt to watch it again.
Though they sound far from the actual Michael Jackson, but they do do a good job with their singing and dancing.
Here’s something cool you should see. These people try to play a Super Mario tune using a remote control car and a lot of bottles. Not sure if they’re Japanese, Korean or Chinese. Couldn’t really hear what they were saying, it sounds Japanese though. In the end, the credits were in Chinese. But whatever, definitely Asian.
The tune of course is far from perfect, but the initiative and effort is no doubt commendable!
Only in Japan Korea can you see such cool game shows. I mean, they really do come with interesting and ingenious ideas, and I guess that they are a little more innovative than westerners. Really cool and seems like a fun thing to try out. Enjoy!
Bear in a Japanese zoo seems to be learning Kung Fu and having alot of fun doing it.

“An Asiatic Black bear attracted attention in a Japanese zoo, after keepers discovered it spent hours twirling a stick.
The bear, also known as Claude, lives in A-sa Zoo logical park in Hiroshima, and spends hours on his stick, twisting and twirling it.
He’s been obsessed with the sticks since he arrived at the Zoo six years ago after his mother was caught in a trap and killed in the forests of Hiroshima.
Although he had let go of the sticks in the past few years, he recently picked up the habit again.
The zoo has prepared 15 sticks for Claude to play with. It’s unknown whether the bear’s behaviour is dysfunctional, nevertheless Claude has attracted many visitors who want to see his kung-fu exercise.”
