“Karoshi” is a Japanese word and means “death by overwork”. In this game many things are not what you’d expect and the goal of each level is counter-intuitive: you need to die.

Not difficult really (who doesn’t know how to die??). But still rather addicting (the game I mean, not the dying part).

A True story…

A taxpayer called up the LHDN (Inland Revenue Board) in Terengganu, and
asked for Form B. The LHDN clerk who answered the call asked for the address to send the form to. The conversation goes:

LHDN CLERK : ‘Boleh bagi alamat encik?’ (Can you give me your address?)

TAXPAYER : ‘Hantar ke Ranhill Worley.’ (Send to Ranhill Worley)

LHDN CLERK : ‘Ranhill… eja macam mana?’ (err… How to spell Ranhill?)

TAXPAYER : ‘R.. for Rumah…
A for Ayam (Chicken)..
N for Nangka (Jackfruit)…
H for Holland (country) …
I for itik (Duck)…
L for lain- lain(Others)….’

LHDN CLERK : ‘Ok.. nanti kami hantar ke alamat tu’
(OK, we will send to that address..)

After waiting for a week, the form arrived - have a look at the address on the envelope!!!

Well, that’s just an exaggeration. I’m sure there are much harder games out there.
But still, this Mario looks pretty difficult. I’d like to get my hands on the game to play it out.

All the platform, traps, goomba monsters, clouds are funny. Even the background music, I somehow remember them being used in Japanese game shows. Sometimes when you die, there’d a short message (in Japanese) for you. LOL, level 4 uses the music from Ghouls N’ Ghosts!

It’s about the truck racing game called Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing.
This game is just so bad, it managed to score a perfect 1.0 rating (Abysmal) by GameSpot. Big Rigs received universally negative reviews with the critics considering it to be one of the worst video games, if not the worst, ever.

The reviewer Alex Navarro is at a loss for words so he decides to show you what it’s like to play Big Rigs.

The game is so bad, it really seems like it’s been programmed by a 7-year old. I wonder what the game developers Stellar Stone had to say about this. At the time of this writing, their website http://www.stellarstone.com/ is just a parked domain. So I guess that’s it for them…

Here’s another game parody, this time about zombie games. If you love zombie games, you’d most definitely have played the Resident Evil (RE) series. They were my favorite games. Too bad I’ve only played RE1-RE3.

Anyway, I guess this is the same Japanese TV show since it’s the same funny guy.

A homemade water slide? Yes, but one that starts off on top of a very high roof and ends with a small blown up pool. Looks pretty dangerous, but truly fun indeed.

Cool music and video editing to go with the slide stunts.
The whole time I was watched this I was thinking how much we should all do this at least once in our lifetime…
