Came across this unique flash game and thought I’d post it here.
It’s called Karoshi: Suicide Salaryman and basically you try to make your guy die in each level.

Taken from the game page itself:
“Karoshi” is a Japanese word and means “death by overwork”. In this game many things are not what you’d expect and the goal of each level is counter-intuitive: you need to die.

Each stage presents a new challenge. There are several objects you can use to solve puzzles, and in later levels the game will even break it’s own rules to surprise you.

50 clever levels and a boss fight at the end. We hope you have fun (killing yourself)!

If you have played the Game Maker version, YES this is an official Flash version!

Not difficult really (who doesn’t know how to die??). But still rather addicting (the game I mean, not the dying part).

Now we all know SAW V starts in theaters October 24th. That means today, though we won’t be able to get it here.
If you don’t know SAW then you ought to saw yourself, heh. Go watch SAW, it’s a great movie for Halloween.

A True story…

A taxpayer called up the LHDN (Inland Revenue Board) in Terengganu, and
asked for Form B. The LHDN clerk who answered the call asked for the address to send the form to. The conversation goes:

LHDN CLERK : ‘Boleh bagi alamat encik?’ (Can you give me your address?)

TAXPAYER : ‘Hantar ke Ranhill Worley.’ (Send to Ranhill Worley)

LHDN CLERK : ‘Ranhill… eja macam mana?’ (err… How to spell Ranhill?)

TAXPAYER : ‘R.. for Rumah…
A for Ayam (Chicken)..
N for Nangka (Jackfruit)…
H for Holland (country) …
I for itik (Duck)…
L for lain- lain(Others)….’

LHDN CLERK : ‘Ok.. nanti kami hantar ke alamat tu’
(OK, we will send to that address..)

After waiting for a week, the form arrived - have a look at the address on the envelope!!!

So it seems the DBKL (Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur) installed a new parking meter in Bukit Damansara.
Take a look at this pic.

See anything wrong with it?
Notice the Waktu Operasi / Operation Days.
Says Monday - Saturday (inclusive Sunday & Public Holiday…
(Oh yeah, there’s a missing closed parenthesis too)

So WTF does that mean? Everyday?

Ahhh PUMA, the large German-based multinational company that produces high-end athletic shoes and other sportswear. Also best known for its football shoes and has sponsored such international football stars as Pelé, Eusébio, Johan Cruijff, Enzo Francescoli, Diego Maradona, Lothar Matthäus, Kenny Dalglish, Didier Deschamps and Gianluigi Buffon.

Of course, Puma is also the sponsor of the Jamaica track athlete Usain Bolt who won three gold medals by breaking the man’s 100m, 200m and 4×100m world records in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

And seems that in China, Puma has some proud descendants too…
